In ArenaOS, pricing is set at the device group level. All devices in the same group share the same price and the same operating mode.
Create a group
Go to Configuration → Device Groups → Add. The key settings:
| Setting | What it means |
|---|---|
| Price per hour | The group's base price. |
| Client mode | Locked (Kiosk) or Windows with a side bar. |
| Min open amount and Min minutes | The minimum to open a new session (not for extending). |
| Enable Play & Pay | Allows an open session that the player pays for at the end. |
| Refund remaining balance on close | Refunds the value of the remaining time when you close a session early. |
| Show in queue | Allows waiting tickets for this group. |
Advanced Hour (tiered pricing)
If you want pricing other than a flat rate, turn on Advanced Hour. You create rows, each with a minute and an action:
- Add amount at a specific minute. For example: 10 at minute 0, 5 at minute 30, and 5 at minute 60.
- Repeat: jumps back to a specific minute so the pattern repeats from there.
When it's on, it's used instead of the price per hour.
Session types
- Prepaid: via Deposit. The amount is converted into minutes.
- Play & Pay: the player plays and pays at the end for the time played and any purchases.
- Registered member: when a customer logs in with their account, the session uses their plan first, then their balance.
If a device disconnects or turns off, the session pauses and that time isn't charged to the player.
