Every bit of money coming in or going out is recorded in a shift. That's how you know at the end of the day how much is in the drawer, and which cashier is responsible.
Open and close a shift
- Click Open Shift in the top bar, and enter the opening cash in the drawer.
- Throughout the shift, sales, deposits, and expenses are recorded against it.
- To close, click the same button. You'll see a summary: opening balance, revenue, expenses, and net drawer. Confirm the close.
A cashier can't sell or make a deposit without an open shift. Each user can have only one open shift at a time.
Expenses
From Shifts → Add Expense: the amount and a note. Only the owner can delete an expense. If the shift is still open, the amount goes back to it.
Shift report
Click any shift in the log to see its full report: revenue split into sales, plans, deposits, and sessions, plus expenses and the drawer. There's a print button.
Staff and permissions
- Settings → Staff → Add Staff.
- Enter the name, username, and password, and choose the role: Manager or Cashier.
- For a cashier, set the exact permissions.
| Group | Example permissions |
|---|---|
| Home and devices | Device maintenance, screen lock, game updates. |
| Sales and customers | Selling, customers, balance deduction, password reset, bookings and cancelling them. |
| Reports and logs | Reports, shifts, voiding transactions, refunding sales. |
| Builder and networks | Builder, WiFi. |
Permissions are enforced on the server itself, so a cashier can't bypass them even if they know the link.
