Booking and the waiting queue

Bookings let a player secure a device before arriving. The queue organizes waiting during busy times.

Enable bookings

In Settings, turn on Enable Bookings. In each group's settings you can set the minimum booking length (30 minutes by default).

Book from the dashboard

1. Devices → Bookings → Book Device.
2. Choose the device, the customer (or a guest), the start time, and the duration.
3. The price is calculated from the group's rate. It's deducted from the customer's balance or recorded as cash in the shift.
4. When the player arrives, click Start and the device unlocks.

Cancelling a booking requires the Cancel Bookings permission, and the amount is refunded.

Book from the player app

• The player picks an available device and a duration, and the amount is deducted from their balance.
• They can extend the booking or start it from their phone when they arrive.
• If they don't show up, the booking expires on its own after its duration.

Waiting queue

1. Devices → Queue → Add to Queue: choose the group and the player's name (optional).
2. The system predicts which device will free up for each person in the queue.
3. When a device frees up, click Call Next.

Display screen

Show the queue on a TV in the hall: open /display?c=center-number in any browser. The screen shows the current number and the next 8 people waiting, and plays a sound when the number changes. In the queue Settings you can change the prefix, color, and welcome message.
